How does the process work?
1. Reach Out
Send me a message through my contact form or email to say hello! Let me know what type of session you're dreaming up, and we’ll chat about availability, location ideas, and what to expect.
2. Sign Contract & Pay Retainer
Once we’ve settled on the perfect session type and date, I’ll send over a simple contract and invoice. A non-refundable retainer officially books your session and reserves your spot on my calendar.
3. The Big Day
Whether it’s your wedding day, a cozy newborn session, a golden hour family shoot, or a branding session that brings your business to life, I’ve got you covered. I’ll gently guide you through the experience so you feel comfortable, confident, and connected. My goal is to capture the moments that matter most while keeping it relaxed and enjoyable.
4. Photos & Prints
Within a few weeks, your beautifully edited images will be ready in an online gallery. From there, you can download your photos and order high-quality prints and keepsakes to enjoy for years to come.
FAQ
How far in advance should I book?
I recommend booking as early as possible to secure your preferred date. For newborns, reach out during pregnancy if you can!
Where are you based?
I'm based in the St. John's metro area, but I’m happy to travel within Newfoundland, or even the Maritimes! Travel fees may apply for locations outside St. John's.
What happens if the weather is bad?
For outdoor regular sessions, we’ll keep an eye on the forecast and reschedule if needed. Your comfort and the best light are my priorities. For weddings, we'll embrace the beautiful mother nature!
Do you help with outfits or styling?
Absolutely! After booking, I’ll send over a styling guide and help you pick out outfits that make you feel confident and coordinated for your session.
Do you pose us or is it more candid?
A mix of both! I’ll guide you into natural poses and encourage connection so it feels fun and relaxed.
When is the best time to photograph a newborn?
The ideal window is within the first 5–14 days, but I photograph babies of all ages!
