My name is Courtney

Laid-back, sentimental, and just a little bit obsessed with freezing time (but only with a camera—let’s leave the sci-fi stuff for the shows I binge). I’m a family, newborn, and maternity photographer based in St. John's, Newfoundland, and I believe some of the most beautiful moments are the ones that happen when you least expect them—mid-laugh, mid-snuggle, mid-chaos.

I got into photography in the most emotional, life-changing way...


After having professional photos taken with my son when he was two


They weren’t your typical department store, stiff-pose kind of photos—they were real, in a park, full of light and love.



I cried the first time I saw them because I knew I’d have those moments to hold onto forever. That Christmas, I got my first camera, and I’ve never looked back.


These days, I’m a mom of three, married to a guy who makes me laugh daily, and a big fan of slow mornings and meaningful conversations.






I don’t like being constantly on the go—give me a cozy night in with my people over a packed calendar any day.


If I’m not behind the camera, I’m probably re-watching Game of Thrones for the millionth time, binging a sci-fi series, or planning some kind of theme night dinner just to keep things interesting.




When we work together, you can expect a chill, no-pressure vibe. I’ll guide you, make you laugh, and gently direct things so you never feel stiff or awkward. But more than anything, I want to create space for you to be yourselves—whether that means dancing in the kitchen, cuddling on a blanket, or just soaking in your people exactly as they are right now.

Although I currently call Newfoundland home, my roots are in Prince Edward Island, and I am more than willing to travel anywhere on the East Coast to capture your beautiful family.
